It was sad to leave Kate and Laura this morning we were all a little sad that we have to spend from 9-5 apart, but nevertheless, Mo and I headed out. We made it to school, and found a great patasserie around the corner where Monique got a chocolate chip sweet bread, and I got a really good pastry that was long and had a thin cream layer in the middle with a chocolate chips - a new discovered favorite. One thing that I have noticed is that I have never seen anybody eating as they walk here. None of the patisseries have chairs though, so I wonder what they do, they must always take their goods home to eat.
Monique and I went shopping for the first time today. We just hit one store, but it's really fun. They don't tax food here, but there is a 19.60% tax on clothing! For students (at this particular store) there was a 10% discount, so it helped out that tax.
We are headed out the door to get dinner in the Latin Quarter.
