Beginning of week 2

I got behind a couple days, so this is to summarize it all. Sunday we went out early and walked along the Seine. We went to Musee d'Orsay (since it was free that particular day) and got in line about an hour before it opened. We were in a pretty good spot in line (it was quickly getting long)until it started pouring rain. The sky was a dark gray, the only other time I have seen rain that hard was when we were here in 2003. Since we were standing up against the wall, under an overhang, everyone in line took down the dividers and pushed us up against the wall. I was standing between two big guys and couldn't move an inch - for about 20 minutes.
Once the museum opened, we had completely lost our spot in line and were pushed further to the back of the line by eager tourists. I really enjoyed the art, we saw Renoir and Van Goghs, I think I liked the art more there than at the Louvre.

There was a sailing school that we stopped and watched for awhile.
We tried to go to the Grand Palais (for a third time), it was open, but it was expensive and the exposition that was there didn't seem worth it. So we headed home and watched the finals of the French Open.
Monday Monique and I went to school and went out with 4 people from our school for coffee. Charlotte and Garth are an older couple from South Africa who are very nice. Chris and Nicole are Australians. They're all nice and it's interesting finding the cultural differences between us.
For homework we had to be detectives and find someone and follow them for 10 minutes and write down everything that they did... I just hope nobody ever does that to me!
We then continued our card games, and watched a movie.
Tuesday after school we saw that Kate and Laura had gone shopping and got the urge. So we went to Naf Naf, Zara and H and M, and got some things. We're trying told off for another week and a half until the sales start. We went out for Falafels for dinner - they were great!
