We took advantage of our youth and got into the Louvre for free. The best part (and it wasn't the Mona Lisa) was the ancient Egyptian section, lots of hieroglyphics and really cool sarcophaguses. We had fun making fun of all the strange looking Egyptian sculptures and looking at all the jewelery. We look forward to exploring another section next Friday night. We stopped and each got a Kaabab for dinner on the way home.

Saturday morning we, unfortunately, missed a flea market that we were going to go to. But we went to the market, brought home some food and made a good breakfast. The weather was so warm, so we headed out for another adventure. It took us probably between 45 minutes and an hour to walk to Sacre Coeur.

It is a beautiful white church that is on top of a hill, there were great views of the city. We walked through the church then went down into the crypt. After that we found a pretty walkway to sit in while we sat had a picnic lunch that we had brought. We walked through Montmartre and then probably took almost half an hour to get to the Montmartre cemetery. It was gorgeous and worth going to.

We found our way home and caught the tail end of the semi-finals for the French open.
We made savory crepes for dinner and for dessert we split a couple pastries.
